My chameleon (female 6-8 months) was doing just fine, eating everyday, regular poops and white irate, and then a few days ago she started acting weird.
she had just shed so I thought it had something to do with that but now I’m not so sure?
It’s been 3 days now and she’s pretty much unresponsive to anything except occasionally she will move after I spray down her cage. Other than that she sits next to her basking spot with her eyes closed. This afternoon I found her with her eyes closed on the bottom of the cage.
she looks very ill, with very sunken in eyes, her feet and tail are a darker color than the rest of her body.
I think she could either be egg bound or have an RI (which might cause the limbs to be darker) but for the egg bound thing I have had an egg bin in her cage the entire time I’ve had her and she’s walked down and seen it.
I’m just not sure what to do and it seems she might pass away very soon with the state she’s in.
