Veiled chameleon not eating

btw anyone able to tell the age of my chameleon? i've seen 5 months old alot.bigger than mine.. and will URI get worse if left untreated? i just brought my chameleon to the vet 2 days ago to get more vitamin A liquid and a dewormer liquid..

This is just a thought, but if you just got him then I would go to a vet. You don't have to bring your cham but just ask the vet for a fecal specimen container. Something the vet gave us to take home and collect a sample to bring back to them for a test. My opinion it's an inexpensive and stress free way to find out as early as possible if they have a parasite, which can have different effects.
If we were able to do this a little earlier then we could've got a jump on treatment. Right now we are having to administer two different antibiotics and hand feed bug juice & gut loaded crickets to our 4 month old cham. Hopefully she pulls through.
A visit to the vet can be super stressful but a quick fecal test can easily rule something out.
