You will overdose your cham on D3 and kill her.I just dust them all when I get them, while they're still in the bag. They still have it on them when I feed her everyday. So I guess I need to save the bag. Shake them off in it, then dust them. then put them in her cage....
well crap. I thought I was getting this stuff down. the ones I have now are only dusted without D3. I wont do that again. thank you!!You will overdose your cham on D3 and kill her.
No problem, keep asking questions!well crap. I thought I was getting this stuff down. the ones I have now are only dusted without D3. I wont do that again. thank you!!
I was doing it every 2 weeks. not every 1.If there are 30 days in a month you should be giving your Cham 28 days of calcium without D3 and only 2 days with D3. If you use that every other week strategy you will be giving her 15 days of no D3 then 15 days of D3.
Stick to the basic supplements schedule, I don’t know why people always want to complicate simple concepts.

it just seems complicated to begin with, guess that's why I overthink it. but I gotcha. thank you
I know this sounds silly, but I hate bugs haha. i'm making myself get over the creepy crawly phobia. I was trying to come up with the best way that I don't have to touch any crickets lol. i'm good with the superworms bc I can just grab them with tweezers. I'll just start saving the bag the crickets come in and shake them off in there, then dust themOnce you get into a routine it becomes easier. I was worried there would be too much work involved but its not as bad as I thought and I am having a lot of fun.
Having a cham definitely helped with my fear of bugs, now I’m okay with them. I have everything in gasket sealed containers and use either cardboard tubes or tweezers to get everything into my dusting cup! The worms I’m fine with, it’s the crickets and roaches that I’m extra cautious with!I know this sounds silly, but I hate bugs haha. i'm making myself get over the creepy crawly phobia. That's me! The worms don't freak me out. Its the creepy crawly legs!Having a cham definitely helped with my fear of bugs, now I’m okay with them. Sweet! Thank you!I didnt like messing with them at first but my cham is worth it and now I am fine even hadling roaches that before would have never been a thing. My daughter loves to help me but is still not comfortable with the bugs. What I did was buy the stuff in the links below and realistically using them you would never have to touch them.
First I use a cricket keeper with the little black tubes so they climb in and I shake them into my dusting cup. I then dust them in there and can either pour them into the feeder cup or use tongs to pick them up. I prefer the wood ones as they are too soft to kill the bugs.

All this stuff is in stock at petco if you don't use amazon and will be cheaper too. I pay the extra to avoid giving petco or petsmart money as I cannot handle seeing how bad they treat the pets.
Sweet! Thank you!
No problem anytime. I like how much you are trying to improve. I remember when you started. I am more then happy to share things I have learned along the way.

On the 1st and 15th you use the calcium with D3 in it in place of the calcium without D3 and also give them a dusting of multivitamin at the same time.
The possibility of reducing the amount of each they get by giving both the D3 and Multivitamin at the same time has been brought up before and I agree it is a valid claim. My response is to simply dust heavier with the D3 and Multivitamin than I do with the normal no D3 calcium. Never had a problem.@Jesspete I was told when I started to stagger them offset weeks from each other. This helps to make sure on the say your giving it to them they get more. I think if you give them on the same day it can reduce the amount of each they get.
I could be wrong though. Instaed I use the repashy plus every couple weeks which is an all in one and the calcium without D3 every day.
