This might be a dumb question BUT could u breed a panther and a veiled cham?? Would it not be the coolest the have a tie dye cham with a casque(sp)..............Or even a dwarf panther!! hehehe

I know nothing about breeding.......Just a randow thought that popped into my brain:p:D:D:D

And you are not the first.
It's surprising how often this question gets asked:)
No, it's not possible. They are different species.
Compare it to breeding a canary and a parakeet (Juli's example)
It can't happen.

hmmmmmmm.....Well I was totally intrested in med school but since I have become aqauinated with the cham Im thinking of becoming an exotic vet speacilizing in chams......Maybe / cham gentics!! hehehe
Well if anyone can ever make it possible I would be one of the first in line to buy one!:D

Different species can mate and produce infertile or fertile offspring. Such as a mule. The offspring can be called a "hybrid" as well.

I'm not too familiar with genetics to know the real differentiator to make a hybrid offspring possible, however; from what I can see a veiled is fully capable of getting on a panther.
