Should i be worried? I saw him stand up on a branch and open up his mouth widely and then spat out a half digested locust. It did look quite big so maybe he could not handle it as he is only 4 months old??

He seems to be eating and drinking ok apart from this?

if he regergitates his next meal then i would be worried , but i think you just fed him a feeder that was to big for his stomac or his stomac couldnt handle it so he threw up , iv never seen it in chameleons but then again iv never fed them anything longer then inch and ahalf silkies , but iv seen it in bearded dragons when they are left to eat alot of crickets or other feeders they regergitate there food but most will eat it again lol kinda sick! but try feeding him about a dozen crickets or 8 to 10 silkies and see if he regergitates his food if so your cham probably has a stomac virus or maybe even a sytem overload of parasites in the stomac and digestive systems but if he does it again a vet will be needed ASAP!

One thing to watch for when feeding Locust and/or grasshoppers is I always pinch off the hind legs, they can also get stuck in the Chams throat if they are to spiny, I also do this when feeding Roaches. As far as throwing it up, I agree, it was just probably to large a meal.
