well thanks again for all the help. I wish I was better prepared and more knowledgeable before I began. I think my little guy is going to make it. We go see the vet Saturday. Im a little nervous about the drive though. its about 2.5 hrs away and its not very warm here, also im not sure how much this vet deals with reptiles. but its the only vet that was even willing to make me an appt. as all the vets around here are farm vets.
but anyway, ive made the much needed changes to the terrarium, and my chams diet and supplementing. I put in a zoo-med 24" 5.0 uvb light, that my chams loving. thanks again everyone for your help.

You can use the medical heat packs for sore muscles, but they MUST be wrapped with a thick wash cloth or some fabric for him to sit on top of. You can get them at walgreens, other type pharmacy stores. These can reach temps of 98 and higher when first cracked. But the heat dissipates as they go on. You would need 3 total. One for the drive there and one for back and one just in case! I use them for vet trips.
