This is what i was talking about in a earlier thread but i caught this on video......he does this to the glass walls....vines ....branches everything.....and tbis was after eating 6 or 7 crickets .....i dont know why he does it ....for some reason it wont let me upload it...if u go to my chameleon set up thread and go to the utube video and look at my other video under my channel u can see it

I can't seem to find that. Can you just post a link to the video?

Here's the posted way to embed a video from YouTube:
To post a youtube video, you will need to know the movie ID. An example url from youtube is below; notice the movie ID in red.
Quote:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vM9mu-gLy1o
To embed the above movie into a post, use a bbcode tag with the following format:
[ youtube]vM9mu-gLy1o [ /youtube]
(note I added spaces to keep the video from embedding)

Was that your video, linked in the thread? That is even labeled cham drinking. Maybe we are seeing the wrong video. But all I saw was a cham drinking.

Just to let you know it is working but I have never really seen a reptile do anything like that? I wonder if it could be a mouth issue? Pain or sore that he is trying to relieve? Good luck.

It's not working. The video in my post is the "demo" video used in the Site Assistance forum to show how to embed videos. The link that gstspyder provided is to his list of videos he's subscribed to/has watched, etc....someone without a YouTube account might go to his, I don't know, but when I clicked it, it just went to my account.

I gather you are doing this from your phone as I keep getting sent to my "mobile desktop"...If you have access to a laptop, it would be easier, then you could just click the "share" link under the video and get the URL to post.

Crazy my new baby male has been caught chewing on his vines as well!!! I just figured he was taste testing to see if it was edible! Wonder if they are trying to tell us they are wanting some plant in there diet?

I think hes dehydrated. Hes probably chewing on things to get more water.

How oftern and how long do you mist for???

My first thought, before I watched the video, was change. Ive seen my Chameleon do that before, but only if I added something to his cage or rearranged it. Chameleons do not like change. It could be his was of testing out his surroundings. But other than that I have no idea. Maybe he wants something or has pain in his mouth. I'm sure others can chime in.

It's definitely been a behavior I've seen before. But I removed the cause. So I have idea why your Cham is chewing on practically everything in his cage. Maybe he is stressed about something or has a health issue that needs to be addressed. It's hard to tell what's going on in their tiny little heads. Maybe he's just a biter.

I have a exp terra but don't have drainage....I have a mister set off four times a day for 30 seconds and a dripper going for hours....his urine is almost solid white and eyes are good...I sounder if he has like a tooth ache or something....most of the time he bites he doesn't shoot his tounge ...he just bites
