I posted a thread earlier today but for some reason it won't respond or load when I try to reply to it.
So, here it goes again. i have a female veiled about a year old. She gets calcium without d3 4 times a week calcium with it & multivitamin powder every two weeks. She said my first cham & I unfortunately wasn't supplementing her properly for a while. She has yet to lay eggs. I am now supplementing her properly. Everything is good. Her cage has all it needs, its a screen cage with lots of vines, perches,uv bulb heat lamp & all. Recently however, she's been closing one eye. I've read this is a vitamin a deficiency. She still eats well, is active, good colors, & comes out on my hand with a treat. But her eye ha she bee closing. Ive read this could be dehydration. I've also read about giving vitamin a & how that reverses the problem quickly. but how should I do this? I've heard fish oil drops in very small amounts. Is there anything I can get at a pet store? I'm paranoid about supplemental issues especially because of the egg thing. Any advice?
