WARNING: Graphic Pictures

It was not out of ignorance that I forgot to check this particular bin of eggs. I make mistakes, just like anyone else does. I have all my notes and reminders on my phone, that works well for me. At times I am overwhelmed by all the reminders I get and life in general. The sickness that came over me as I open the box and saw all of the dead babies was indeed disheartening. But because of my failure to take care of this eggs, I have to live with those pictures embedded in my mind. I posted this thread to remind you all to keep in mind to check your eggs often. Just saw this thread now! Terrible indeed....I guess this reminds us the importance of checking our eggs regularly. To be completely honest, I do not understand why many people check so infrequently, I know people have these expected hatch dates in mind and sometimes get caught off-guard, but I think when you're breeding chameleons to make it a habit of checking your eggs. I definitely do not think that once or twice a week for the entire incubation period is really going to affect your daily routine. Tho the eggs may not be due for months, its always good to check your eggs to ensure they are developing, still at a proper temperature and have decent humidity in the egg box. Good luck with your future clutches, I am sure you have learned a lesson here, and probably saved a few others from a similar fate!
