I have another question.... What's a good soil to use??? I'm getting ready to add some live plants to her chage. And was wanting to get some opinions on good and safe soil

Anything organic that will be fine look for something with perilite in it to help facilitate drainage and help deal with water. Just no fertilizers or anything that will hurt ur cham.

I am having a difficult time finding the best water dripping system for myour chameleon.... I have the little dripper from zoo meds. but I can't seem to get it to stay on long enough... it either doesn't drip at all or is pouring out. I also have a fogger. But it doesn't create enough moisture to make a drop. I'm hoping to find a better system. Any advice would be great!

I use IV tubing with a dial a flow. The 99 cent store has plain plastic storage bottles. The IV spike I insert near the bottom and I can set the drip how I want it. I set mine at 5 drops a minute or less and it waters my live plants.

If the perlite floats up to the surface of the potting soil (it tends to do this over time as its lighter than the soil), your cham might be attracted to it and eat it. Not a great thing. You can use perlite in the lower portions of the soil for drainage. And, to keep your cham from eating pieces that do float up, cover the soil surface with larger river rocks.
