What a difference a month can make.

Well we have officially had Memphis for exactly one month. He has grown so much that we thought it would be fun to share. He is 5.5 months old today. So here it goes.

At 4.5 months

Always so great to see how quickly they grow. Little Memphis will be a big boy before you know it :)

Today after his second shed with us, Memphis got his first day out in the sun. He seemed to enjoy the bright sunny day.

It is common for the tail to always be a different color like this? Its been like that since we got him, but now its more pronounced.

He's really coming into his colors nicely, we just aren't sure why his tail isn't changing with the rest of his body...? It seems to be pretty much the same colors as he was when we got him.

He looks great.. and yes they grow like weeds!!

I have had the same issue with my 7 month old Panther recently, but it's because of a partial shed. hence the "dull" color ( it was his whole tail and his rear legs). He recently shed it and is back to normal.

Does your guy do a complete shed?

When you mention the partial shed, does it matter that his shed today was complete including his tail? Are you saying that his tail may shed more?

So far he uses the tail well. Actually it is always using it to help climb and hang on things.

No, I mean like shed the front 1/2 then the other 1/2. If he had a full shed then disregard my previous post.

A few reds are starting to show through 2 months after his arrival.

He went white when he got out in the 90 degree heat and sun.
