In answer to the question 'Is being blinded by the light the same as being able to see through the darkness???'
I would say the answer is no. My interpretation of the phrase suggests that looking too long at the light will cause you too see nothing but darkness for a short time. The condition of blindness caused by the light is only temporary. Perhaps 'The Boss' can explain a bit better with his opening song on his debut album - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uozMTmEjxHc

Of course the songs are just a way of getting a feeling out there. Music is art....nothing more or less than that..... Any relation to real life events or persons is entirely coincidental. Only a fool would take it literally........

I will always remember the day that I got to hear my FIRST new Beatles song released. It was something I never thought I would have the chance to do. Then I watched the video. (over and over :rolleyes:) There is so much in this vid that I still find new "old" beatle moments there.
