I'm not a vet but my only thought on using the iodine is would it do anything to the thyroid?

Chameleon information is definitely lacking in so many areas.

I found this...but notice that this species lives in an environment where it gets potassium iodide...

This still doesn't prove that iodine on the skin is absorbed and could cause an issue.

Hi i went back to the vet to get the burn checked the vet looked at the burn and prescribed some Silver Sulfadiazine and i have been starting to use it for a day now
