What fogger do you use?

So apparently my fogger either has a leak or the seal between the bottom and top piece are not connecting totally because I just went to fill it for tonight and yeah water on my just in case catch mat below it (thank god I bought it).

Does yours run more then one enclosure? I was going to buy a second one for the new enclosure but now I may need to rethink this and just buy one that is better to run two..... :(

I reworked mine because I was told that I needed smooth pipe to let the moisture not build up and sit it in.

See the white elbow that connects to the straight white piece? The elbow is on the outside of the cage and the straight piece is on the inside. These are stuck... Got any ideas. It is really hard to try to unhook them since one is in the cage and the other is outside. I made a serious design flaw when I did this.

i thought you said your not handy. That’s better then what I can up with (y)

Hey I have this! What concentration? Does is say on the bottle? (I'm at work, cant check, sorry!)
It says dodecylebenzenenesulfonic acid 15.0%, phosphoric acid 50.0%, and Inert ingredients 35.0%. It is a 4 oz purple bottle I have.

LOL well I think it still works. I just need to find flex hose to use with it. I think the clear pvc hose pulled the top causing it to tilt slightly when it was low on water so it leaked out. I am handy when it comes to thinking stuff up. I can put almost anything together. I struggle with building anything out of wood because the size of the wood is never what they say it is like a 2x4 is not actually 2inches by 4 inches. So I can't build well with wood because my sizes come out wrong every time lol.

Anyway you can reinforce the pvc on the wall or cage? Maybe the ceiling to hold it up straight?

Are you talking about the tube I have? It is not very flexible. The problem is that when I moved the cage on to the new table it makes it so that the pvc tube is not straight up out of the cabinet so it slants from the fogger to the cage. It just needs to be reworked. I would rather run both cages off this one if I can find the flex hose to use with the dual head adapter.

Ok found tubing and got push on pvc fittings rather then the stupid screw on ones... So I will be able to split the fogger to two. It did not leak last night so I am just thinking the pressure of the heavy hose pulled to much on the machine the night before. Now as long as I can get the old fittings off I am good. I have a feeling it is going to be a bit of work though later when I try. :(

If you’re still trying to get the pvc apart try heating the outside piece, jam ice on the inside, and grip with two silicone potholders.

Thanks hun. So apparently in my putting it on I double threaded it.. It was not going to give at all. Ended up ripping the screen and the whole piece came out. So yeah it is out just had to do some patch work lol.

Aww sorry to hear that!
Glue an old phone over the hole, cricket screensaver-boom. You’ve added a hd flatscreen media room to your enclosure.

I took huge rubber washers and put the new fitting through the torn hole to cover it on each side. So at least I can’t see that I tore my really expensive dragon strand clearside atrium
