what is better a misting system or a dripsystem and mist him 3 times by hand i will be at school during the day so i need to know what to invest in

your chameleon will love you for it. its a scientific fact..also people who have an aquazamp get better grades and better looking bf/gfs. AND! your any car your in gets 2 more miles per gallon of gas.

I found a way to make an inexpensive misting system(more of a rain system) with everything from home depot.

What you will need
-300 gph fountain pump-----$30
-1/2inch tubing--------------$4
-5 gal bucket---------------$1 or 2
-mini pipe clamp------------inexpensive cant remember price.
-small piece of 1/4 in tubing----------maybe $2 if they make you buy in bulk you can use just a irrigation black pipe line if in your yard.
-misting irrigation head.had one but is inexpensive
-digital timer lowest setting 1 min--------------------10

all done for about $56 dollars compared to 120.

I can take photos if you would like to see it and if you want to still see the photos of the cage holes i can take to let me know.

True he is more active as he is a chameleon hobbiest too. He actually was a chameleon hobbiest before he made the aquazamp. Marty @ MistKing may not be involved in the everyday forums of chameleon care but he is always available to answer questions you may have about his product if you ever PM him. Just saying...Both are great systems.

A dripper should only be used as an offering of water in between mistings but really isn't needed.

the water is just a little cloudy because i have an aquarium heater in mine you can use to make the water warm and it works well can pick one up on eBay for about $12.The pumps just hooked up to a outlet timer that is set to come of for 1 minute every 4 hours. Make sure the timer can handle the pump though. ill post photos of it working if you want later. It just had a drip on the valve thats not how it comes out.

I preferred cheap home-made drippers, but you may find a misting system for the convenience factor.

heres another of it working ill post more tommorrow and a video of it working if youi would like. It works quite well it waters my plant also which is great.

If you're going to be at school... get a misting system. Or make one like bigben did. It will save you a lot of worry.Drippers are nice for extra water, but if you'll be gone all day id get a syste, JMO.

That way if you are not going to be home for a day or two, you dont have to worry about filling the water either. Just fill the bucket before you leave.
