What kind of worm is this?

So today I noticed that something had eaten a hole in one of my hibiscus buds and there are several (what look like) eggs around it. When I opened the bud there was this green worm! What the crap is this?! It's not a hornworm and it appears to have layed eggs?? Any ideas? And can I feed it to my Cham?

The big green thing? It looks like some sort of caterpillar.
Yes the green thing. I've been googling pics and it does look like a type of caterpillar that gets "hairy" but maybe too small right now for hair? I use organic plant food but no chemicals. I'm so tempted to feed it to Chloe. It's now in a cricket keeper so I can see what this bad boy does....I'm curious to see if those round things are poop or eggs lol

Its quite a plump little thing.

This looks like the same type of worm. When I got a good look it appears to have some hairs starting to come in. And if it stings?! It's going down the garbage disposal either way....

Could be some type of polyphemus moth? I think you should keep it and see what it transforms into!
I am, lol! It's already in a cricket keeper with possible eggs/poop. I wanted to throw it in the garbage disposal but the dork in me is so curious to see what it turns into, and if it has in fact already laid eggs. I tried but can't throw away a perfectly good interesting species!! (y):D

check the blue butterflies. It looks to me like a Lycaenidae caterpillar. not sure where you live. That would narrow it down. They are slug-like caterpillars.

Looks like an Io larva. Feed it until it pupates, and the moth will emerge later. The cagterpillar spine can cause irritation.

You are correct, thank you! This pic came up and that's exactly what it is. I'm in Texas...
