do females require less space than males?
and are they less agressive?
what do i look out for to find a healthy specimen?

Females they can have an enclosure a bit smaller than what males have but bigger is always better.
I think Veileds have their own individual attitude, majority of people say Veileds are an aggressive species, but some can be very nice an willing to be held by you others do not want you to even look at them.
My female was nice from baby to adult but when I changed her into a new cage she has been very moody and aggressive ever since.
My other female is shy and my male is nice but when you suprise him he will get mad, but not bite or anything like that.
Females do have different care to what males have and are harder than males, so you should rather get a male.

Healthy should have no bones sticking out wierdly in the head (dehydration symtom).
Should hav every round non-sunken eyes.
Not sleeping during the day or when lights are on.
Eyes should be open.
Should always be alert, feeding well and drinking well.

oh okay thanks :)
well is it okay if i temporarily put the baby veiled into a galss tank which has 3 sides covered so only the front is showing?
there will be a screened mesh ontop for airflow..
because its my birthday soon my friends should be able to give me money to buy a screened cage
thanks

Well only for a while but dont leave it to long, I lost my young Veiled because of a glass cage within about 2 months after I had him in it.
The glass cage was very stressing and he stopped eating and drinking and kept his eyes closed.
So get the screen cage ASAP.
Or maybe wait till you have the screen cage then buy the cham.

Because chameleon females can cycle infertile eggs for which you must plan for with the proper laying container.
