What UVB Lighting to use ? ADvanced tamers please read !

Are you calling me out here? The commenter had already said that they didn't regret their decision. If he's happy, why are you chiming in on me supporting myself? If he doesn't regret his decision, to him, your $70 bucks is not that much of a difference. You know nothing about me, my situation, my finances, or my career. And to assume I didn't spec out my build and setup is laughable, so lets back it up here a sec and stop throwing shade at me.

I'm not calling you out at all. Sorry for the implication. I was just clarifying that to some people, $70 can be a lot. (Young owners, on a budget, allowance etc.) Some people would read your statement and assume the difference is $5-10 or less. I was just attempting to clarify that there is money to be saved if you want to shop around. My comment is that I (ME) always research before buying anything, and not that you didn't. Sorry for the confusion. :(

You shouldn't go for a younger Jackson than 5 months, there are a lot more issues with raising young Jackson's than most species. I would not get a stronger uvb than a 5% for any Jackson at the moment. You also want tons of foliage everywhere and some even in the basking area. Now as far as growing plants it depends on the type of plants you have, look at what light colors they do best under. Most people just do a mix of all and get good results for most of them.

thank you feel free to to send me

can you send some links that you or some one else uses for plant life
right now im trying to find a main plant to put in the center and small to medium plants to surround the walls and bottom , also if young Jacksons are that finicky then I might look into a panther or an orange eye

An orange eye would not fit in an enclosure built for a Jackson or even a panther... Most people who keep orange eyes either have then on a decent sized free range or a larger cage for a giant species. And you need to look into care for them specifically. They require something different than even Jackson's. I don't keep plants currently in my cage, I can find some lights u would use if I did though. The reason is my chameleons eyes does not tolerate lots of artificial light, so all he had is a basking light for indoor lights.

For plants pothos and schefflera are my go-to although I have like 20 different kinds. Look up a safe plant list.
