Are you calling me out here? The commenter had already said that they didn't regret their decision. If he's happy, why are you chiming in on me supporting myself? If he doesn't regret his decision, to him, your $70 bucks is not that much of a difference. You know nothing about me, my situation, my finances, or my career. And to assume I didn't spec out my build and setup is laughable, so lets back it up here a sec and stop throwing shade at me.
I'm not calling you out at all. Sorry for the implication. I was just clarifying that to some people, $70 can be a lot. (Young owners, on a budget, allowance etc.) Some people would read your statement and assume the difference is $5-10 or less. I was just attempting to clarify that there is money to be saved if you want to shop around. My comment is that I (ME) always research before buying anything, and not that you didn't. Sorry for the confusion.
