Ok I received my lucky reptile super fog today, set it up no worries, got the tube going on top of reptibreeze cage so the fog goes down below the basking spot but humidity isn't going above 45 without having to mist which defeats the object right?? It's a modified cage with water proof ply board on left back and right to help contain humidity, why isn't humidity rising super quick like everyone elses??
I live in south england

I don't know about the super fogger, but I have an ultrasonic humidifier that I have rigged with a pipe to fog my Jacksons cage. I have to run it for hours to get the humidity right. 1 hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. I also have a mist king that runs three times a day for 3 minutes per time. That and the live plants keep my humidity right at about 60 percent all the time. it drops during the night though.

I have a cool mist humidifier going into two of my cages. And one into another one. And neither of them actually raise the overall humidity. However my one cham loves to go underneith it and chill. He enjoys hos humidibath. Lol.

Ah so basically I was conned into buying a fogger that doesn't raise humidity? Arnt they meant to raise the humidity?

Even with my misters and humidifiers I sometimes have to use plastic on three sides of the cage to keep humidity at certain times of the year:mad::mad:

get rid of the fogger as they are trash! and get yourself a humidifier from Argos or Amazon.co.uk :D

Howgood are humidifiers?
And can they all b used with a tube/hose pipe to take the mist into the cage??

Humidifiers work well. Alot of humidifiers can be rigged with hoses. I remember reading on here what kinds to use and how to do it with photos. If you use the search engine I am sure you will find it.

There are alot of build threads that incorporate a humidifier on here, but just make sure the feed hose to the cage is a smooth not flexi one! (easier to clean and won't harber any nasty bacteria) :D
