He look sad, when he is in the terarium he is dark brown. When he look himself in the mirorr he get scary and he is dark. before he blow like he is angry. When he see female chameleon he is again beatiful and look better. They are in different terrarium becaouse before he beat the female. I think maybe he have depression? Or he is sick? Go to the link here and copy and paste the questions on this thread and answer them. That will help everyone understand whats going on better. Also if you could post some pictures of your cham and is setup that would be helpful.

Wanting to go out of the cage is 99% certain not being social and communicative. Chameleons are solitary creatures and have no reason to be social apart from mating every once in a while. You may want to check if there is something in his enclosure that does not suit his needs that's making him want to abandon territory.

The mirror, chameleons are not self aware and do not recognize themselves in the mirror. To him the chameleon in the mirror is competition and reason to be on alert and reason for being scared when not on top of his game.

Why is he seeing his self in a mirror? That is a big no no. There should not be a mirror anywhere near him. The stress from that alone could be your problem.

(Research research research) <---that is your best friend when dealing with chameleons and understand there is crap stuff out there that is not true
