What's wrong with my Veiled ???

From what I've been reading is appears to be a respiratory infection. Is there anything that I could/should do until I get him to a vet?

Is it just me....or do the eyes look swollen? ( along with watever other isues that were stated) How did anyone miss this?

Yes his eyes are swollen too. I mentioned this in an earlier post ...

Is he gaping? Wheezing or making a popping sound when breathing?

Nope. nothing like that whatsoever. But sadly he expired during the night, around 4 AM. I am still amazed, this came on so fast, yesterday morning he was active, eating, drinking ... the only difference was coloration as I described.

Despite being away for about 20 years, I am not a total novice to sticky tongues. I've had in the past a beautiful male Parsons for over 7 years, several Jacksons, Jeweled, Veiled, a breeding pair of Mellers, and many others. But, I've never encountered anything like this.
