What's your favorite myth?

Besides the obvious chameleon's can change colors to match their background, what are some of your favorite myths you've heard that either give you a chuckle or make you want to pull your hair out?

Pet - a domestic or tamed animal kept for companionship.

Chameleons are not Pets, niether are fish, ect.
