Your Cham will tell you. Lol , sounds funny but they will start wondering the cage and even spend time on the bottom (almost looking for a way out). Once I moved my Chams to larger cages all this stopped. They were about 6 months old.

Once I moved my Chams to larger cages all this stopped. They were about 6 months old. Not sure of this was a sign, but it was right around the time they started to drop sperm plugs.
You'd be surprised how quickly some chameleons outgrow their cages. It depends how much they eat and such, but some look huge by the time they're 5-6 months old, while others have a more paced growth and will be fine a couple more months in their baby cage.
My breeder believes my cham is 5 1/2 months old (born in November) but I find it hard to believe as she is still really tiny. Maybe it’s just her size and she’s a little tiny or she got her dates wrong. What do you think??
