When should I worry?

I rescued a 2 yr old veiled chameleon on Saturday from my local animal shelter. Since then, I have had to switch him into a bigger cage. He was living in a 16 x 16 x 30 cage. I moved him into a 2 x 2 x 4.8 ft. In his new enclosure he has a large, hollowed out piece of wood. He seems to like to hide in there and not come out. Since Saturday, he has only eaten a few crickets and 2 silkworms. He has a 65w basking light with a hot spot of 88-94. He also has a t8 uvb bulb (I have a t5 HO on its way). Please let me know if I should be worries or should I just let him get settled in and not worry.

I'd let him get settled, not eating when they get to a new home is common. I'd drop his basking temp a few degrees. I'd do 88-90

That's if you have a male, a female I'd keep temps 82-85. Look for bumps on the back of the hind feet. That will tell you if it's male or female. Spurs is a male no spurs female

Sorry, yes he is a male. I will lower his branch where his spot is. Thank you. I'm just so worried. He is my first and I just want to make sure he gets what he needs.

Are you feeding/gutloading the insects with a wide assortment of greens and veggies?

Are you dusting the insects before feeding them to the chameleon with a phosphorous-free calcium powder at most feedings and twice a month with a phosphorous-free calcium/D3 powder and twice a month with a vitamin powder that contains a beta carotene source of vitamin A? How are you providing water?

The calcium he came with was not correct so I ordered him some repashy calcium plus today. He has a dripper and I mist multiple times a day. Currently he has crickets and silkworms in his enclosure in separate feeding cups but has not shown much interest. I can only assume it is due to the stress of moving multiple times over the past 6 days. He was left at the shelter on Friday and I picked him up on Saturday. I then moved him into a larger cage on Tuesday so he has yet to really be able to settle in. The crickets are gut loaded, but the silkworms can only be fed their specific food.
