Where to buy my new cham

Hi all,
I'm getting chameleon as soon as I get out of my dorm, which will be May. Perfect timing as Repticon comes to Houston late May, and this is where I was planning on getting him. I haven't decided between a panther and a veiled, however I am leaning more towards a veiled. I want to get him fairly young, but I obviously want him to be as healthy as possible. Is Repticon a good place to look, or should I rely on breeders in the Houston area. If the latter, does anyone know any good breeders? Thanks

I am weary of reptile shows for buying chams., unless you know the breeder ( I know a few up here in N. CA). You should take a look at the sponsors here on the site and also take a look at the market at the top of the home page. If your set on breeders in the Houston area, do your homework and ask around. You'll quickly discover who's who in your state.

I debated about getting one from Repticon, but after talking to a breeder I changed my mind. I ordered a panther from a breeder and I am very happy with him and the fact that he answered every question that I had before and still after (just got my chameleon last week). I just started feeling nervous about Repticon, gut feeling. I am just new to chameleons and wanted to be able to have contact with breeder . Welcome and good luck!
