Which Roaches Have Advantages for Feeding Response?

So I am the worse with scientific bug names, I thought that was a different type of cricket entirely:ROFLMAO:
It is actually just a house cricket, and they chirp all the time outside of our window! Maybe @alan marz is talking about something else??

I have a lot of escaped crickets!! And they are driving me crazy!! I cant seem to find them! I tried last night at about 3am when I just couldn't take it anymore, but only found 1. The problem I seem to be having is they are not dyeing! They get into my other feeder bins and just live there! I am really looking forward to colder weather so they die, but I am worried they wont!

One place I know they are in is my dubia bin, and I have tried to catch them but have had no luck! Any tips or help would be great!!

@Katacara I feel your pain, they are horrible! One is literally stuck in my baseboard, we have an old farmhouse so there are nooks and crannies everywhere, once they are in there they just don't come out:mad: I was on the floor at 2 am last night poking the little tiny space with a wooden skewer, hoping for silence. I have lined the whole area today with sticky pads, plus the little boogers only make noise at night which is the worst, because you can't find them in normal hours:mad: I have had them in my dubia bin also, as the bins are right next to each other. I had to break down the entire dubia bin and find the lone cricket that way! After this batch I am determined to not buy anymore, tough love here we come! Though I said that last time and caved in and bought this batch:rolleyes: My veiled will eat anything and has slowed down now that he is a little older, but my panther not so much he is a picky fart head! He looks at me with his little eyes and I cave in every time:oops:

@hopps31 Every time I buy crickets I swear it will be the last time ... I have been saying that for months :notworthy: 'O what we do for our chams!!! (and our other reptiles) It's crazy but that's how it goes when you have cham fever!

@Katacara totally, cham fever is real:love: I have had a variety of different reptiles through the years and for me nothing compares to a chameleon, they are by far my favorite:) "I am not buying anymore crickets", that is my new mantra, this time it is going to worko_O

You could try discoids or lobster roaches, they seem a little more preferred, but I can't speak on their smell.

I had lobster roaches about 10 years ago. I don't remember any significant smell. Though after working in a pet shop for several years and currently working around kids, smell is relevant.

I live in Maryland and never had an infestation and I know some escaped.
