I know they are all great. I was sold a female ambilobe at Repticon, when i was told a male.

Well, meloMan has turned into Melonie :) and we love her just the same. However we want to get a baby/juvenile male as well in a separate enclosure.

I know they are all great, but would love to hear stories of which breeder YOU recommend, because after going through a nightmare breeder, we want to have someone thats honest and available.

Thanks,

Dan

Your above statement is against forum rules.

Its good to educate people about your buying experiences, so that other people know where to go/not go, but the place to do that would be http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13

You should see who has animals available for when you would like an animal. You should then talk with the breeder, to see if you feel comfortable with how they keep their animals, and if you feel they will provide the level of service you desire.

There are breeders in the classifieds section also, that are not sponsors, but still have a high standard of care, and service.

Sorry i did not realize there were rules on peoples positive experiences with certain breeders.

I just wanted some opinions with CF because i feel like this community is trustworthy and im not familiar with fanaclassifieds.

You can't go wrong with Kammerflage Kreations, phenomenal bloodlines and excellent customer service.

I personally love Jim fletcher at the chameleon company. I also like shauna at tree candy chameleons. There's one closer to you called chameleon addict with Alex and Danny. You could try epic chameleons with curt. The possibilities are endless! :)

P.s. he said where he himself is from or she? Sorry. They did not specify which breeder they got their last Cham from. Mentioning breeders names as a bash is against the rules. Simply stating where u live is not!

There arent any rules against positive experiences, just negative ones, and advertising.

This is not a legible statement, other than that, I cant comment on it.

The part of the post that was against the rules has now been removed, if that helps clarify any confusion.

The Jungle Panther

Steve at The Jungle Panther does a great job with his chams. I got my male there, and Steve has been more than helpful. I also could not be happier with his prices, or the quality of the cham I got from him. You can see what he has on his Facebook page The Jungle Panther.

imcurt

Imcurt from epicchameleons is the nicest guy. Have had several pre-purchase questions and not only does he respond, he called me to talk about my issues 8)

Just noticed this! Thanks for the recommendation ! :)

I still do not see how giving a review on a breeder is okay if it is positive, but not okay if it is negative... It kind of defeats the point of giving reviews or of spreading information.

Anyways, I can say that there is no one single perfect sponsored breeder, I have found that some of the best breeders have bad stock from time to time. Some unknown local guys have clean and carefully raised chameleons, and some pet-shops can even have good stock too. Its all subjective, you should keep in mind that although some breeders do breed on a full time basis, this doesn't mean that they are going to have great lines. You can never really see what happens behind closed doors. I know of some breeders that inbreed, I guess I cannot say who though...huh? It is almost like a lottery when you buy a chameleon online. Sometimes you get a good draw and sometimes you don't. My advice is to wait for a show or check local people out. Nothing beats seeing a chameleon in person. If you see a sponsored breeder at a show though, by all means go and check them out.

Jim Flaherty chameleon company, Steve fauer jungle panther, ecoreef (a forum member). I had great experiences with them all, and healthy chams. :D

Kammerflage Kreations, Chamalot Chameleons and Komeleons 100%. Never had a problem with easier, and some of the best experiences and purchases I made.
