White eyes???

my Cham has a been oh drops for an eye issue. Literally 10 minutes ago I saw him rubbing it on a branch and saw a white film covering his eye. I have no idea what it was but I managed to get it out with a q tip. I'm just not sure what this is or what to do about it

What kind of drops? Vet prescribed? Looks like it might be an eye infection. A vet visit seems to be in order.

Took him to the vet and got the drops. He's been on them for a few days. They think it's a gland that got clogged and I think it's just stuff working it's way out from the drops.

The bottle should have the name of the drug(s) on it. What did the vet give you?

Yes. Whatever it is, dried medicine, debris from something or dead skin from a recent shed, it is probably not clean and it's definitely irritating his eye, so antibiotic wash is excellent. I would put him in the shower a couple times a day for several days if I had this problem. It will hydrate him and give it a good thorough wash. Dont touch it and refrain from poking a q tip in it too often. Those little fibers on the qtip can't be good either

I only used the qtip the one time. I haven't seen any discharge except the one time so I guess that's good.
