I might get a veiled chameleon soon, and I am looking to buy a baby one. Should I get a premium or a regular one and from where?

Personally I do not think there is much of a difference. When you go, try holding each one and pick the one that fits what you want best. Do you want a more friendly one, a prettier one, a shy one, and go from there rather than price.

Then maybe go premium, it looks like the premium ones are specific by bloodline so they will look pretty like their parents and the others are just more normal and not from their followed bloodlines.

It depends on if a chance at a prettier cham is worth it to you. There is no objective answer to your question

As @Syreptyon states, there are no guarantees in this. I was very lucky with a Petco Brat who turned into an amazing boy (in my not so humble opinion) and he was very healthy and had no major health issues. I know some animals that come from great breeding lines that don't last a couple months. As a general rule the reputable breeders are going to have more controlled and reliable incubating and rearing techniques. I have seen traits that are passed on to the next generations, but again, there are no guarantees. As a matter of opinion I have seen much less predictable color and feature traits when compared to the lineage. That, I'm sure, is arguable though.

Can any of the premium bloodlines turn purple and also are the Premiums as friendly as the regular?
Purple is not really a color you will see often. Most of the "Purple" chams are panthers that have some blues that are so incredible that they seem purple. From the few I've seen they don't necessarily stay that way. As for a veiled, no purples, but some awesome teals or even golds can be prevalent. "Friendly" is a term I would not associate with bloodlines but rather socialization. I don't think all chameleons thrive in socialized environments, and it likely adds stress to many. If you are mostly concerned with a "friendly" chameleon, again, there are no guarantees (In my opinion).

There are several others I would place in the "steak" category too. @jannb would fall into the steak category for veiled, @Matt Vanilla Gorilla, @NHenn and @eric thompson to name a couple of panther breeders that are members/ sponsors here would fall into that category too. If and when I am ready to work with ambanja I will likely check out @nrnbow24 to see if she has anything available since I know she does her best to trace her lineages several generations back. What about @jajeanpierre? I would say her quads fall into the steak category too. There's many more that could be put into this category as well that aren't members here and I'm sure some that are that I've missed.
Don't get me wrong, I respect what the kammers have done for this sub of the hobby. I do have some of their nosy be blood in a project I'm working on with @Matt Vanilla Gorilla though she is the third gen of the male originally purchased from them by the person I got her from. But, point being, "enough said" really isn't "enough said"
