Who to order crickets from?

There are many places, do you not have a local pet store with crickets near you? They'll probably give you the best deal in bulk as you won't have to pay for shipping.

I have had no problems from them,and even got a phone call from them asking if I wanted them to still ship my crix to me, even though the closest fedex pick up place was more than 22 miles away.

This is who I buy from. I have good luck with minimal loss. Not sure about the count being high or low, how do you count 500 or 1000 crickets?

I only need a very few... like maybe 100 crickets. How large are 6 week old crickets? would they be large enough to feed my 1 year old chams??

6 week crickets are adults, as big as they get, and have wings so they're noisy.

If you have multiple chams and atleast one is about a year, you should be going through alot more crickets then 100!! Especially for a month! Are you feeding them anything else?

I have two really small chameleons and I order my crickets online. I buy them at 2 or 3 weeks old, start by feeding large numbers of crickets, tapering down as the crickets get bigger. This seems to work pretty well.

As has been mentioned several of the board sponsors sell crickets so they are great options. I buy mine from Petco online.

At a year old 5 large crickets a day is more than enough - too much I believe. That would be 35 crickets a week for each!!!

I feed my adults every other day - crickets and other bugs - and five would be the maximum on my every other day schedule.

1 -5 bugs per day, if feeding daily.
