Hello, We are Ryan and Lisa. I am 32 and she is 34. We just got married about two months ago! We are new to the Cham Hobie, but are already in love with it. I am already addicted and have had my cham for 3 days. :D

We live in Diamond Bar Ca, in LA county near Orange County. We have a bulldog that we love as you can see. We really enjoy going to concerts , Movies , Video Games. I am a Network Engineer and She is a Computer CSI... sounds cool doesn't it. LOL. We are both Super Nerds!

It is nice to meet everyone!

Just found this thread! I live in San Diego, CA. I take terrible pictures. In the Thunder Down Under photo, the pretty one is my daughter, I'm the old geezer (geezette?) on the right. The other two photos - the horse was tickling me; and I was being silly at a red hat convention (ya, I'm 55).

SoCali, you should definitely be in that show, you could pull it off, and they sure get good tips in their little g-strings! Hey, I saw the show your sis is in, Le Reve (sp?) at the Wynn, in January this year - I absolutely loved it, it was fantastic!

Here's a not so great pic of myself but its the only one I have of myself on my computer right now.

LOL... Only tip I would get is "You really shouldn't be wearing that." I would need a caution sticker on my chest I am so white... "CAUTION: DO NOT STARE DIRECTLY AT THE SKIN WITHOUT PROPER PROTECTIVE EYEWARE!"...
But +1 to your kind heart.:)

Yeah! I love hearing when people have seen Le Reve... My sis is the one that does the sixty foot freefall into the water from the top of the Theatre! Crazy Stuff. It really is an amazing show... I have seen it 4 times now... And I see something new everytime. I could brag about my sis all day. Thanks for your Kind words.

I have totally put this off because I hate having my pic taken. It won't stay up long.

I'm the girl who runs the Melleri Discovery site. Here's me at work. I don't have to wear heels or commute for hours. My hairstyle is the victim of practicality. Fellow artists, judge me not: my sweet Iwata is waiting for replacement parts, hence the stripped-down Paasche. And nothing exploded, the molding table behind me always looks like that. You should see the floor where I spilled a half gallon of clay slip.

Basically, I make fine ceramics and design toys/giftware for a living. I make 100-lb plaster molds off my original models to make the ceramics, and in most cases, the figures are cast whole, which is impressive if you know moldmaking. I have a 1/9 scale African elephant to mold next, and I am afraid it might kill me.;)
Here is one of my recent ceramic pieces:

It kinda gives ya a clue about why the MD is so detail-oriented. Yeah.

My old craptacular art site, I never update it. Stuff just ships out and I don't do html. My collector group is where all the action is.

This is what hubby does, for all you car nuts:

He casts my resin prototypes for clients, and occasionally I do sculpting on models for his biz. He also casts my resin dinosaur kits. Some of you 501sters undoubtedly have seen us at various scifi shows and the like.

Yes, nerds are my people.
