Why do his eyes pop out so much when he sleeps?

I really need a good opinion on this.

Almost every time Monty goes to sleep, I notice that his eyes look sort of like.. Long. Like 2x as long as normal, almost like tiny vienna sausages except with eyes on the end.

How the heck? Why the heck? Someone explain?

I would take a picture but both my ipod and camera are at another house.

My female Veiled's eyes did this a couple of nights in a row backin 2010. Never did it again or before that either! I have no idea what, why or how, but it looked bizarre!

I'd like to know as well, for my Jackson's did the same thing. One day I noticed it while he was basking, both eyes were just larger than normal. I allowed a shower so he could get anything out of his eyes if there was something in there. Then at night I noticed it, it was gone. But now it's been gone since.

It might just be a veiled thing? My male veiled has done it ever since I got him 2 years back. Not every night but on occasions. I was thinking maybe when the humidity is slightly higher than norm at night, ill have to keep an eye out.
