why is my veiled shedding only on the sides?

I noticed that my young veiled shed 2 times in a month, the first time was ok (even if since i got her she keeps having a part of retained skin on her left side of her body) but this second time she's only shedding on the sides of her body, is that normal?

It takes usually days before she complete her shed and some piece of old skin doesn't fall off. I've never seen her completing successfully a full shed.

supplements and food:

arcadia T5 6% uvb, basking spot around 86 fahreneit, misting the cage 1-2 times a day (i have a homemade wooden and metallic mesh cage with bio active soil and foam background, 1 mist a day is enough to keep humidity at a decent level), live plants.
Feeding her with mealworms, crickets daily dusted with calcium, using reptivite vitamins with D3 twice a month, she drinks from the dripper.

what's wrong with her shed? :(

Misting more often during sheds helps. Other than that its normal. As they get older it seems they always have atleast one part of their body shedding in between full body sheds.

Constant retained sheds are thought to be a nutritional problem. Try gut loading your feeders from the gut load list in the nutrition section and increase the length & frequency of your misting as mentioned above.
