We (my mom and I) spend a lot of time reading posts (current and past) on here. I can say this forum is amazing and have already recommended it to anyone who shows any interest in chameleons at all. I do have a question, we have read different posts, and I know that EVERY chameleon (or animal for that matter) is different...but Izzie LOVES to climb out onto my hand whenever she gets the chance. I am wondering if this is just because she is so young (almost 12 weeks) or if it's her personality in general? For those that have raised veiled's in the past, do you think this behavior will continue? I am loving the fact that she isn't afraid of me and is eager to come out and have free-time on her plants and trees. Input from you more experienced owners is welcome....

That is exactly how my panther is and has been since the day i got him. I took him out of the box he was shipped in and tried to pout him in his cage but instead he climbed on my arm. He sill comes to the screen of the cage and sits there waiting for me to take him out and if i put my hand in there to feed him be climbs on me right away. If you continue to take him out regularly and don't stress him out too much I'm sure he will always come out for you. Chameleons can go through sort of mood swings sometimes though and wont come out sometimes. In the winter Skittles does not come out as much but any other time he loves it!
