again, all information is from petsmart and their genius staff haha.
Ok, So I will take out the bark and learn about the vitamins he needs!
calcium without d3 everyday, with d3 twice a month, and multivitamin twice a month.
does that apply for pascals whole life or change as he gets older?
& I should put the plant back in, I will keep you updated on how he reacts to it, its strange and the frist time we did it, it worried me!

at that age i would use D3 more frequently.

i honestly dont advocate calcium with every feeding, but a lot of people do, i dont think it will hurt.

and no one wants to see their cham with mbd so i understand the concern.

if you gutload properly the multivitamin is unnecessary.

hypervitaminosis can be just as nasty as hypovitaminosis.

obviously with that said there is always more than one way to do things.

the bark looks nice, you can totally keep that if you start using a feeder cup.

ive never had issues with impaction, if you let feeders in a couple at a time and keep an eye on him during feedings there should be no reason why you cant keep the bark.

but definitely try to incorporate some live plants, leave the fake plants if he likes em.

`He loves his fake leaves, and i have a full umbrella plant in there now that he enjoys to hide in :)
I took out the bark,`and just left news paper at the bottom.
the worry of him developing mbd is endless,I dont think ide ever forgive myself!
I have this rep-cal herptivite multivitamin thing i found yesterday, which im taking as thats the multivitamin i should be giving him twice a month.
and then reptocal with d3, which i was told twice a month as well,
what else am I missing?

Glad he loves the plant now.

and the worrry never goes away, even when youve been told by 20 people you are doin gthings right.

as for supplements, you just need the regular calcium without d3, whcih you probably wont find at a store, so you will have to order it online.

but the two you have are good.

any recommendations on a brand for the calcium without d3?
and then i read a comment above saying i should do the d3 more often since hes so young, should i?

i dont remember what brand i used to use for calcium no d3.

but no, you dont want to use more d3, it will cause problems.
d3 twice a month.

ok twice a month!
and thankyou for the help, ive been searching up the calcium online all afternoon and wasnt sure which to get, wanted to make sure there was no recommendations.
Also, ive been reading things on how to get your chameleon more comfortable with you and i saw hand feeding is good, i dont need him to be begging to get out but i dont want him huffing at my every movement either! around which age should i start hand feeding him? right now i feel like i should let him prowl around, it makes him feel all tough and its so cute to watch him flash his stripes.

I use Sticky Tongues Minerall outdoor formula. It is calcium without d3. If you cannot find it in the stores you can order online at LLL Reptile
