A baby cham does not require a basking light until it's around 2 to 3 months of age. If it is only 6 weeks or so old, a linear uvb bulb is all that should be required. At this young age they have a hard time regulating their boby temp. When they get to be between 2 to 3 months of age the basking light could be introduced.

Personally I would stay away from waterfalls, they are a breeding ground for bacteria if you do not clean it daily. Instead of a waterfall make a water dripper by getting a cup and poking a small hole in the bottom that allows for 1 drip every second or so. Also even with the dripper you will still have to mist his enclosure with warm water 2 times or so a day.

i live in canada too, and a glass enclosure is not ok. you just have to make sure you are misting enough to keep the humidity up! not enough air in the glass containers for them, your lights will make it super hot in there, plus glass filters out any vitamins they get from the UV....where in canada are yoU? how old is the cham you are buying?
