Hi all,

While I am still waiting for my baby veiled chameleon, I would love to have some ideas of decorating my screen cage for him. Much appreciated if you could share your setup. Thanks.

PS I already bought a pot of hibicus, some artificial jungle plant and vines.

This is Wiley's home. Repti Breeze that now has a mist king system. Have since added a perch that goes horizontal a bit lower also, he likes to sleep on it. (bird cage dowel held onto screen with push pins--easy japaneezy) Have removed the red feeder cup, because he doesn't seem to want to cup feed, more of a hunting sort.

looks nice but I think I would run some of those doll rods horizontally(even if you have to cut them to fit) so you cham does not have to be on an angle all the time!

did u wash the plant? u need to repot it with organic soil and cover it with HUGE stones so they dont eat the dirt i wouldnt want to hear anything happen to ur cham since its your first

so far looks great!

I bought river rocks at adams 40 pounds 3.99/ They are the size of half dollars and covered all my dirt with them!

You might see once in there they would like more leaves to hide them on that great highway across the top. They are going to go high but don't like to be Seen. So either wrap some of that vine around it or buy a fake vine until yours gets long enough. They will be much happier being able to play hide and seek under their lights
