Hi Max's mom here,
When I first got my Max he was small, cute, and sweet. Then he got sick had to make several trips to the vet where they did things to him he just won't talk about and now my my he is so mean. If he even thinks I'm going to get near him he hisses, snaps and tries his best to bite me. Yesterday I was trying to move him back into his tree off the window blind where he climbed to, He wrapped his tail around the slat on the blind turned loose with all four feet and swung at me hissing. You would think with all the love and care I give him he could be just a little bit nicer... Oh well I like him better hissing at me than I did laying on the floor not moving. He is still so magnificent to me..Here he is in his dare devil climbing stunt..(we may have to start calling him evil knevil... max curtain.jpg

Veileds tend to be less aggressive if kept in free range. They also go through a period of aggressive behavior around a year, usually they grow out of it.

Just leave him alone and he will slowly forget about the treatment he experienced at the vet's.

Just keep being gentle, slow and patient and he will come around in time.
