The title says it all… I am looking for some small-ish silk worms! I will feed some off and the others I am going to make my first attempt at breeding them… I am really jumping on this breed your own food bandwagon! Paying 100 a month for crickets sucks! 50 is ok… 100 no bueno! Plus I will still be able to gather tons of mulberry leaves for the next month or two before I have to go to much.

Shoot me a PM if you have any…

Brandy sells some nice silkworm eggs at a good price. They are real easy to hatch but I have yet to try letting them spin a cocoon and mating the moths myself. just from hatching the eggs yourself saves you a bunch of money.

Yea… I have been thinking about buying the eggs in bulk, I know that mulberry farms sell them in mass quantities however I have also herd that they tend to go bad if you do not care for them very very well…

Try Pams Chams.
I don't think it's all that difficult.....I have had some reasonable success.
Silkworms were what I was going to suggest for you to add to your feeder breeding projects.
Let me know when you get your package (I sent a lot of big girls!)

Seemes that if you put a bit of work into the silks you can get them to work out for ya... VerteX just posted some for sale so I should be able to nab some form him...
