Yellow giant parsons????

@Action Jackson they grow more with larger enclosures??? Are the YLs around the 4-6 month mark atm?

And thank you both too from as well, I love reading what you guys have to share.

I do think that the size of the enclosure, especially during the early development time in important. The Oldest YL babies I have are 6 months old. Mine hatched over a period of time so I have younger ones also.

This one recently went to a new home and is 4 months old and weighed 25.5 g

For those of you are interested in acquiring the YG please lead them to the more experience keepers and breeders we need a good establish population here in the states.. If your interested in an entry-level Parsonii go with a CB OE get your feet wet first.

I wouldn't have gotten a Parsons if I didn't know these animals were my life. Any extra time, money, etc goes to working with my animals. Hope to take it beyond just a hobby in the years to come. I've tried everything in life and I am always lead back to my exotic animals, for 20 years or so now lol.

I understand your passion towards the species.. I was the same way back in the 90's when I acquired my first Pair of OE and again just over a year ago..But nothing prepares you when you lose a animal that you watch grow from a baby all the way to juvenile adult and just pass away I still have not recovered from my lost..All you can do is move forward..So you guys want Parsonii it not all about I got the money or the room or the experience it how you deal with a lost of your animal.. That the biggest Challenge of keeping Parsonii...Sorry guys just vesting

I can understand that @savage13 I routinely ask myself why I bother with animals, it just means one day down the road I'll be really depressed. With everything that's happened to me in life, still some of the hardest things for me to look back on are over losing animals. But that's the way it goes unfortunately.
