Yellow/Grey spot on head

Gular edema is only on the bottom of the neck. If it's bad enough it can cause swelling up the sides. What you have circled in the picture is just fat deposits. It's a well fed chameleon. That's all. :)
Ok thank u ferret,if the OP can show us an underside of the chin, then I will stick with my first reply of the post .
dont know if its the angle of the picture taken or the edema in development.
What about that grey spot on the fat pad?
Is it an old shed skin, pigment discoloration or start of fungus ??

Hard to say, right now it's minor. Monitor it for spread, growth, texture change, etc.
Yes that is correct n thank you for replying in a timely fashion.Let's give a round of applause to our forum own ferrett(y).
To the OP,you have a healthy fat chameleon who loves to eat, which is a beautiful thing,my suggestion to u is watch that gray spot closely, vet visitation will be helpful if it became a bothersome to u n ur precious cham.
During this friendly discussion,no actual chameleon was harm nor with the forum members,in these days,u can never to be too sure ur chameleon will get all sorts of disease,a great observations will be helpful to dissect every angle of the scenario,Have a happy new year n drive safe tonight from the Alphakenc :)

Those place is where the mature older cham stores their fat, could it be the pigment discoloration??I also see some swell around his neck area on top?dont know if its the angle of the picture taken or the edema in development.
I agree, Ken, this person should keep an eye on the puffy area you are talking about. But cham looks healthy and fed good

I have a similar mark on my chameleons head? Does anyone know the cause?
