Pics look good, you will see saliva strings that are attached to the top and bottom of the mouth in the corners or see bubbles in the corner. I probably just got over-heated. If you are unsure, take him to the vet.

He looks good to me too.
I agree with Donna, I would double check your tempetures he may be getting slightly over heated.

As always if your unsure take him to the vet ;)

I agree. If it was a respiratory infection, you would be seeing some mucus in the mouth. It looks good and clear. Sometimes, very early into the infection you may not see any mucus. In this case, I think he was just hot and trying to cool off.

Thanks guys I dubble checked the temperature today and it was between 80-84 f. but i think it was a little bit warmer because the lamp was a little bit closer..

Thanks :)

Nice mouth on that boy :)

Your boy is showing off a nice mouth. He's either warm or pissed off at the camera and you. He looks healthy. Overheated chams often exhibit a lighter coloration because they are trying to reflect off the heat. They show dark coloration if they are cool and trying to absorb the heat. Your guy looks pretty normally colored. If he is overheated you would reduce his temperature just a bit and then see what happens. I don't think you need a drastic change. Do you have a temperature gauge to check the maximum basking temperature?
