Thanks for the advice on uploading pics Chrome...I really appreciate it! And, Chris, that is what happened last time for me as well. They left the eggs alone until one day I saw one on them and looked at the eggs and they were duds. Trying to upload a picture again.
Wow, I just can't seem to get the picture up. I have it on photobucket now but there is no URL, just these choices: Email & IM, direct link, HTML code, and IMG code. I tried Email and IM and can't remember the other. Neither work!!! So frustrating. I wish I was better at this!

Just before I had to go to work today, I noticed my sweet Mama straining on the floor of the cage. Last night she was fine and ate like a pig. This AM she was fine. Now she is laying on the bottom of the cage and straining. I think she is egg bound. I used a Qtip and gently put some olive oil on her cloaca just in case it might help for lubrication. She still looks quite chubby and her cloaca is extended. I am so sad, because I have read if she is egg bound, there is not a thing I can do. I have just been heartbroken all day at work. I don't get off until 9:45 and then have a 45 min commute home. I just know I am going to find her passed away and I am sick about it. I see many people have tried to salvage any eggs if their beloved passes. I don't know quite how to do that. I am going to check her nest and see how many eggs she laid 2 days ago and try to love them into little memories of her. God, I feel horrible!
Came home from work and she is still with me. I cannot tell if that is a good thing, or a bad thing. I am so afraid she is suffering. This is killing me!
If she does pass away, and you are comfortable with it, you can retrieve any eggs that are still in her and incubate them. I know that sounds morbid, but if you are okay with opening her up, you might be able to save the eggs.
Yes, there is quite an update. I didn't know anyone was following the thread anymore so I hadn't posted. Mama is still with me! When I came home after work she was almost white colored, and could not keep her balance or walk straight. So, I put her in a waist high gently warm bath and spooned water over her. She kept opening her mouth so I also gently dripped water into her mouth. After she drank about 3 times I put her back in her cage and hoped for the best. The next morning she looked more alert and stronger so I repeated the bath and water in mouth again that night. She is almost her proper green now, but I have not seen her eat anything. That is my worry now. No further eggs have been laid, but she looks much slimmer. I don't get it. She is active in the cage again and has traversed it from bottom to top, but, as I said, I still haven't seen her eat. But then again, it has only been about 3 days. I intend to keep giving her the bath and making sure she drinks. I mist her terrarium 3-4 time a day and the humidity never falls below 70% but I never see her drink. I have turned her UVB light off for a bit, because the temp in her terrarium was up close to 80 degrees and I feel that is too high for her. I think keeping the temp down has helped also. Any ideas, advice, or feedback is always much appreciated, as well as the fact that everyone checked on me again! She is a fighter, and I am fighting with her...my tiny little love.
