~sigh~ I don’t know about myself sometimes. Walking thru a building the other night and found an earthworm just traveling down the hall. Yup. I did it. Picked him up and took him outside to safety.
Finally! After way too much delay, my poor Beast dog got his first dose of medication for his Cushing’s disease this morning. Hope it helps relieve his symptoms quickly.
I have finally achieved insanity. When playing with branches outside today, I noticed one of the little froggies looking really sad and thin. It’s pretty chilly out and of couse only going to get colder at night. Poor guy was like a frogsicle. He is now in a little bin with some clean plants, fresh RO water and a dish of mealworms for the night.
Oh. My. God. After seeing and hearing how the dog and cats are crazy and loud at their dinner time, the turtle has now started also being crazy and splashing (his only way to make noise) for his dinner too. He never splashes at any other time. Unbelievable!
So hard to look at this sweet little face and imagine how she’s always ready to land some painful bites. Stella is extra active this week, making sure to eat every leaf from her new hibiscus, and leave just empty sticks in the pot.
Stella is just too cute! Yesterday she took advantage of my unmonitored hand in her enclosure and gently tried to eat it. The day before she had a piece of hibiscus leaf stuck to her face for most of the day. Hard to take her ferocity seriously.
Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. I keep getting hibiscus and expect this time they won’t bring any bugs in. Yup.
