Spike wasn't having me hand feed this morning lol He seemed to be really cool for a little bit but I think I made a mistake and moved my hand a little closer and then he flared up and showed me how big his mouth can get. but look how beautiful he is lol <3

I can't take it anymore I hate this new way he's getting down. Today he did a flip and landed on his back. But seems to be fine as he immediately went to his crickets and ate like nothing happened. I'm adding another branch here soon so he can safely get down. Ugh

I've been tricking Spike into eating silk worms by putting tiny tiny silkworms in his bowl with his BSFL and it's been working

So now we're up to crickets, bsfl, and 1-3 tiny silks per day

Looks like Spike has a new resting area? If he stays there it'll be the first time he's ever slept in a different place from where he used to sleep. I think he outgrew his old bed because he was squeezing himself into it lol

It's extra hot today but his enclosure temps are completely normal. So I think it's just him finding a new resting/sleeping area

Good Morning! Spike gave me some more new color on his chin this morning He might have been mad because late yesterday a BSF hatched and was buzzing around the top of his enclosure as he was going to bed lol The very first thing he did this morning was eat that BSF

Yay good job spike! poor guy has been busy with this shed but it looks like its coming off really quick

He also made sure to make a nice big mess for me to clean later lol
