Sorry, I was away from my laptop for the weekend. OKAY! lol so I just tried plugging it in directly, bypassing the timer and it turned on. I have it set on auto and have tried resetting all of the times for it to go off and it still doesn't do anything. I am using tap water but I use Reptisafe...
I've had my Mistking for a little over a month now, it was working perfectly until about a day ago. I noticed that it stopped going off. I made sure all of the tubes were in the right spots tightly and I even went as far to reset the entire thing. I have it connected to a surge protected but...
Those all sound good. Just remember that the minimum size that is recommended for a cham that is around full sized is 48x24x24. That is what I have (above)
The only thing I saw was you need to cover the soil in your pots with some rocks so it cant get in to the soil and try to eat it. you can get some cheap rocks at home depot or some where to cover it all up. Other than that, I think it looks great. what size is this cage and his next cage?
I did an update about a month ago of some recent pictures. Here is the thread for y'all to look at. Compliments are welcome :p

K9Luvn- I know I am supposed to wash plants I put in, what do you mean by baking?
Also, I would like to put the Mistking inside the cage, I just havent found the best way to put a hole in the mesh to get the nozzle through. How did y'all put your Mistkings in your cages?
Should I just grab a bunch of leafless branches and tie then up in the middle to lower half? I can go buy some cheap fake vines with leaves on them to give him more of a hidden feel when he goes down there
Here are some pictures of my new 2x2x4 Cage and its setup. Please let me know what y'all think about it.
Thanks!
P.s.- I almost always have the blinds in the window up for him because he likes to look down at the street and watch the cars go by but there was too much glare so I put the...
Mine is about 8-9 months. He has never been much of a drinker in the first place. When I had a big dripper and did hand mists, I only saw him drink in the mornings but then again I am not there 100% of the time to see. I have also noticed that when I did hand mistings that he would almost cower...
Hey all, I just got my Mistking for my 2x2x4 cage that I am setting up for my 9 month old panther cham. I have a Schefflera arboricola tree in there for him. I am also in the process of putting a lot of fake vines in there for him. But back to the Mistking. I live in Statesboro, Georgia (south...
Try hand feeding him with tongs or tweezers that way he learns to recognize you with getting food or even by giving him horn worms. Its like candy for them. Remember, random things can set off different chameleons. There is a cham on here that doesnt like green kool-aid. They are funny little...
I have heard a regular red solo cup works well, I am thinking of switching from hand feeding and a little free range to cup feeding (his tongue is getting weak). Should I use a cup or a bowl? i feel like a cup would be easier for him to get to
