Just a quick question. I have a baby veiled cham who is around 3-4 months old. I just got him on Sunday, but every single day, all he really does is bask. He will move to drink water, and he is eating crix, but other than that, he is just sitting under the heat lamp. The basking temp is right...
I will definitely check them out for that price if I can get my little guy to eat the crux I bought. Fruit flies is what I was hoping to find but they aren't carried at any stores near me
Lol ya nothing wrong with it. I do feel like all of you people that can build these systems are from Atlantis: highly evolved technical skills to my caveman like ways. Lol. I can't even set the most basic timer from target, so I am stuck doing things the old fashioned way lol
Just my 2 cents... I just got a baby veiled and it is adorable. Bug I am already having issues getting the correct size bugs... I love my creeper but if I were to get another (which I already want) I would get something a little bigger
That's definitely an idea thanks! I am going to see how he does with these crix and if need be I will head down there! Thanks!
I am hoping he grows quickly and gets into the medium size bug stage soon lol
Most of their D# they make by having proper UVB lighting, but they still need the tiny boost from suppliments. The Multivitamins, they get from their food when it is properly gut-loaded (feed good food to your bugs) but again, the little bit of suppliment during the month just gives a little boost.
Well this answers a lot for me haha. The crix I got should be just fine then. I was thinking the bugs needed to be able to fit between his eyes if he were to wear it as a head band lol. I was wondering how people were feeding these huge bugs to adults when there still it's a ton of room between...
I am in Tucson AZ, so not very close to PA lol. I went to every petsmart i could find and made them let me get my own crix so I could get the smallest ones. Hopefully he will eat those. I put one in with him but it still looks kind of big :(
I will check out both thanks. I just am not 100% sure what kind of bugs he can eat at this size. I only heard of Phoenix worms today, and so I am very overwhelmed by the options lol. I know there are fruitflies but I think those May be too small. But I'm not sure to be honest
He is shedding today, but I took a pic from a dif angle to give a better idea of his size. The vine he is on is a pothos vine, roughly the thickness of a pencil. I also just thought of something... Is the bug supposed to be thinner than the width between his eyes or shorter?
