I've been trying to use silkworms as a feeder for my adult Panther cham. I've been trying to figure out an efficient strategy to keeping enough to feed just one Cham.
Last week I tried buying 100 mixed size zebra worms and 2 lbs of food, figuring that by the time the large ones were eaten...
I breed lobster roaches for my tarantulas but they are too fast for my 16mo. old Panther cham. As soon as they are in the cage they scamper off and wedge themselves into the deepest darkest crack they can find. I havent found any cup that they can't crawl out of.
Any idea of how I can get...
Why not warm mist?
I built a warm mist humidifier into my system. If you need both heat and humidity, there you go. By boiling it also sterilizes the water. My cham was just shedding and he would actually sit in the warm mist. He seems to love it.
Oh - No, the pic is just the "temporary set up" until I get the cage this weekend. Thanks for the feedback guys... The cup is my attempt to try to get him to cup feed, but at this point he's only interested in free range crickets.
