    MBD, please help!!!!!!

I wasn't insulting anyone in your family by any means. I just know how ignorant some can be who don't keep specialty pets. There is usually a lot more to a reptile purchase than the initial costs. Lizards generally more so than others. Your best bet is to have your parents read over some of the...

    MBD, please help!!!!!!

I have been reading this from the beginning. He's 9. He heard what he wanted from a vet. His parents presumably not being reptile enthusiasts puts him in a relatively difficult situation as one vet they already dished out money to gave him the ok. They are likely ignorant in the basics of...

HUGE Cham Enclosure construction & assembly video

One thing you might want to check out is pet screen. It's super durable and way stronger than average screen. Comes with a higher price though. But if you're going to do it, do it right the first time. Hate to see a post about a racoon tearing into your cage and your chams being on the loose.

Seeking Quads for a PHAT Breeding Op!

Cool. I don't stuff my animals into as small a space as possible either. I have a single Veiled in 36"x24"x62" roughly. So come off your high horse a bit, and remember that you've posted pictures of a cham in one of those morally unacceptable enclosures, while also stuffing a salamander in a bin...

Seeking Quads for a PHAT Breeding Op!

I don't understand people's need to expose their herps to unnecessary risks by cohabitation.

    Anoles running rampant

Sweet. Then I won't stress the cham by rumaging through and trying to catch the little bugger. Just nab if I see him in an easy spot, or wait for his inevitable demise. And heres a picture of him coming inside after a little outdoor basking last week, because let's face it, we all love cham...

    Anoles running rampant

Well the vet already did a fecal and gave me an all clear. The bottle idea is something I was bouncing around in my head already, just didn't know if it'd work with anoles. I've only been able to spot one the last few days, thinking maybe he munched on one already.

    Anoles running rampant

So technically rampant may not be the best term. So while finishing my enclosure I had my pothos and ficus outdoors for awhile. Apparently some Anoles thought one of the plants looked like a decent place to lay eggs. So now I have two (hopefully) baby anoles hiding among the various plants and...

    Feeders in Central Florida

I have never heard of cnsfeeders.net, decided to check on their offers and pricing. Was very pleasantly surprised. You can't hardly beat some of their combo packs.

    Feeders in Central Florida

Hey guys so just out of curiosity I was wondering if any one lived around central Florida that ordered feeders pretty regularly. I want to order more diverse foods, but am hesitant in ordering some of the feeders I was looking into. Frankly because it's epically hot this time of year and I don't...

    cricket (or another insect) cup

You wouldn't want it clear. To avoid the cham shooting at the plastic in temps of getting to the insect.

Why You Should Never Use Tap Water For Your Chameleon

My local city water has chlorine levels between 1.2 - around 1.5. But I use tap( well water) in my for house everything. Only issue is the battle against hard water stains.

    Put my mind to ease

Definitely not a staple. I'll stick with properly gutloaded crickets for that. But I have them on hand, and figured it'd be a nice addition to his diet if there were no issues with them as feeders. Thanks for the responses @jpowell86 take it easy, and have a great night/day.

    Put my mind to ease

Awesome. I have a colony of isopods from a previous bioactive substrate from about two years back. I haven't really seen these talked about as feeders much on here. Would there be an issue with a Vieled snacking on these also?
