try not to buy from a pet store if you can help it,plus imo its better to start with a younger cham so you can build up a relationship with it and it would probably feel more rewarding,just my own opinion though,and welcome to the forum by the way:)
i have that problem with locusts,every time one jumps out of the box my cat always manages to get it before i do and runs away and eats it,shes a total dustbin and will eat anything lol.
im currently using a 100w mercury vapour bulb which im told gives out uva,uvb and a good heat supply,ive been using it since i got rico about 18 months ago,my question is how often should it be changed,cos its about £60 a pop depending on where you go.

i noticed on the safe plant list on here that a black cherry tree would be toxic, is this the case for red cherry's as well.i just thought it looked quite bushy at the top which would go great in my viv,if not what sort of tree would produce a bushy top,something sturdy.i used to have a fiscus...
about 18 months,i thought it was a female as i specified a male from the store but when i went on holiday i booked her into my local reptile shop and they told me it was female?
